It is in the news that Siddhartha Hospital is to be undertake by Communist Party Nepal(Maoist).According to the source, Maoist is going to purchase Siddhartha hospital with an amount of 30 crore(NRS). The source says that the hospital has to pay the same amount(NRS 30 crore) to Nepal Bangladesh Bank in term of loan that it had taken few years back. Since the management committee is unable to return back the amount to bank, the management moved to the Maoist where Maoist agreed to pay the lump sum to the bank and to undertake the hospital as well, for its activist...
I think this is the first time that any political party is purchasing hospital for its comrades in the history of Nepal.
